The Kindergarten Program consists of 5 mornings and 2 Extended Days with a specifically designed curriculum. Afternoon sessions are also available 12:15—3:15 Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. All children in the morning session will participate in weekly lessons in language, music, and movement. If you are interested in securing a space for your child, you should complete an application form and submit it with your deposit of $1,500. Visitations may be scheduled at our Lancaster facility by calling to make an appointment. Applications will be processed in the order that they are received. We have limited spaces for new students and will fill classes on a space availability basis.

Text Box: Through activities in daily living: a child’s fine motor skills, care of the environment, care of self, as well as grace and courtesy are developed. Once in our primary classrooms, the sensorial materials develop the skills of observation in every sense, develop rich vocabulary, as well as an appreciation of the materials used. Language is developed through many materials in the classroom. Stories, songs, poems, the names used in geography and science, and the tactile sandpaper letters all contribute to a multi-faceted approach to learning.
Math concepts are initiated with concrete materials including sorting, counting and problem solving. Eventually, children move on to use the many math materials. Maria Montessori designed all of her materials to initially isolate a concept before unifying ideas.
